The route
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1 Nairobi to Samburu
Drive north across the equator to Samburu. Afternoon game drive along the Ewaso Nyiro river.
Day 2 Full day in Lewa Conservancy
A full day in Lewa, one of Kenya's best-run private conservancies, famous for black and white rhino and Grevy's zebra.
Day 3 Samburu to Lake Nakuru
Drive south to Lake Nakuru for a half-day game drive around the lake and its rhino sanctuary.
Day 4 Nakuru to the Masai Mara
Cross the Rift Valley to the Masai Mara, game-driving to camp on arrival.
Day 5 Full day in the Mara
A full day of game drives in the reserve with a picnic lunch.
Day 6 Return to Nairobi
Drive back to Nairobi and check in for a relaxed evening in the city.
Day 7 Nairobi National Park & Giraffe Centre
Morning game drive in Nairobi National Park, then the Giraffe Centre, before drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
