The route
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1 Nairobi to Ol Pejeta
Drive north to Ol Pejeta Conservancy for an afternoon game drive and a visit to the northern white rhino enclosure.
Day 2 Ol Pejeta to Lake Nakuru
Morning game drive and the chimp sanctuary, then south to Lake Nakuru National Park, a fenced rhino sanctuary on the lakeshore.
Day 3 Nakuru to Lake Naivasha
Early game drive in Nakuru for rhinos and birdlife, then a short hop to Naivasha for an afternoon boat ride among hippos and fish eagles.
Day 4 Naivasha to Nairobi
Optional walk with the animals at Crescent Island or a relaxed breakfast by the lake, then the drive back up the escarpment to Nairobi.
