The route
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1 Nairobi to Amboseli
Drive south to Amboseli and take an afternoon game drive below Kilimanjaro.
Day 2 Amboseli to Lake Naivasha
Morning game drive, then up the Rift Valley escarpment to Lake Naivasha.
Day 3 Naivasha to Lake Nakuru
Short drive to Nakuru and an afternoon game drive in the rhino sanctuary.
Day 4 Nakuru to the Masai Mara
Drive west to the Mara for an afternoon game drive.
Day 5 Full day in the Mara
A full day of game drives with a picnic lunch by the river.
Day 6 Mara to Nairobi
Return to Nairobi with a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint. Overnight in the city.
Day 7 Nairobi and drop-off
A flexible final day in Nairobi — an optional city or national park tour can be added before your drop-off.
